IMPA Tech Extension
IMPA Tech Extension promotes integration between the university and society through the practical application of scientific and technological knowledge generated by teaching and research at our institution. Our activities involve students, teachers and external partners in initiatives that seek to generate social impact.
The activities are the responsibility of the Internationalization and Extension Coordination (CIE). Questions and suggestions can be sent to extensao@impatech.edu.br.

Q: What are IMPA Tech’s outreach activities?
A: These are academic initiatives that connect teaching and research with the demands of society, through projects, courses, events and partnerships.

A: The activities are open to the general public, but each activity has its own entry forms and periods. See the list of activities below to find out more.
Q: How can external institutions collaborate?
A: Partnerships can be established by proposing joint projects or participating in existing initiatives, through coordination with IMPA Tech.
Q: Do the activities generate certificates?
A: Yes, activities carried out within the scope of IMPA Tech and approved institutionally can generate certificates for the organizers and participants.
General Instructions
For students:
- Complete a minimum of 310 hours as an organizer throughout the course.
- Periodically request that the hours be recorded on the school transcript
- Guarantee supporting documentation for the activities carried out.
For teachers:
- Proposing and registering activities in the institutional system.
- Ensure adherence to the extension guidelines(CNE/CES Resolution No. 7/2018).
- Submit period and final reports.
- Inform organizing students and their respective workloads.
- Accompanying and guiding the students involved.
