IMPA opens selection process for IMPA Tech professor

IMPA is holding an open selection process to fill a vacancy for a Professor at IMPA Tech, in the area of Academic Management. Applications are open until May 31st. Access the public notice here.
To apply for the position, the candidate must hold a doctorate, with work in an area related to computer science, data science or applied mathematics; declare that they know and respect the precepts established in IMPA’s code of ethics and conduct; and be able to teach the subjects of “Software development” and “Database”.
Hiring is on a CLT basis, in person, from 8am to 12pm, Monday to Friday, at IMPA Tech. Among the desirable requirements for the positions are: experience and quality in university teaching; experience in advising and assisting students; experience in academic management; experience and track record in research, both fundamental and applied.
The main duties and responsibilities of the position are: to teach 3 (three) undergraduate courses per year; to participate in the management and coordination of the program; to guide students in the program in IC, industrial challenges, extension projects, and course completion work.
