IMPA Tech invites applications for English course assistants

IMPA Tech is selecting monitors for the English 1 (HU21) subject of the Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics of Technology and Innovation. Students regularly enrolled in postgraduate studies in Languages, Linguistics or related courses can apply. Candidates must be proficient in English and have knowledge of teaching English for academic purposes. Interested parties should send their CVs to rafael.beraldo@impatech.edu.br until February 9, next Monday.
The main duties of the assistants will be to prepare and teach practical classes using the flipped classroom method, prepare and correct teaching activities and take part in weekly alignment meetings.
Classes will be held in person at the IMPA Tech headquarters (Av. Professor Pereira Reis, 76, Santo Cristo, Rio de Janeiro) on Tuesday mornings. Payment will be made for services rendered via RPA (Recibo de Pagamento Autônomo), for a monthly amount of R$1,500.00 (gross), which will be subject to legal deductions (INSS). The contract is for four months, with the possibility of renewal.
