IMPA Tech is accepting applications for individual courses
External students may apply until June 28
IMPA Tech has launched a public call this Monday (the 15th) to fill remaining openings in specific courses of the Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics at the School of Technology and Innovation. External students interested in participating may apply for the courses that will be offered during the 2026.2 academic term. Applications are open until June 28 at the the institute’s website.
Anyone over the age of 18 who has completed high school or its equivalent at a foreign educational institution may apply, provided they meet the prerequisites established for each course, as detailed in Table 1 of the call.
Each applicant may register for a maximum of five individual courses per academic term and must indicate their order of priority when registering. To register, you must fill out the form and attach the required documents (identification document; high school diploma; updated academic transcript from undergraduate or high school; and proof of fulfillment of the prerequisites required by the chosen course).
The selection process will consist of a review of application materials and academic merit, which will serve as both an elimination and a ranking criterion, conducted by the academic administration and approved by the university leadership. The objective is to verify that candidates meet the eligibility criteria and to assess their academic performance. All details are provided in the public call for applications.
Selected students will be enrolled as external studentsand will not be entitled to a spot in the undergraduate program or to scholarships provided by IMPA Tech.
The preliminary results of the open call will be announced on July 10, and the deadline for filing appeals is July 12. The decision on the appeals, as well as the final results, will be announced on July 17. Selected candidates must register for the course(s) between July 22 and August 3. In the event of a change to the schedule, a new calendar will be released.
